Smoky Mountain Waterfall

Description

It is not fantastic, as usually goes with my landscapes, but it has been such a long dryspell I figured I should post something.

The smokies were beautiful, my photos don't even come close to doing this gorgeous place justice. This part of the mountain we were climbing was very damp and cool and rainforesty. We found lots of salamanders. :meow:

All constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! :dummy:

I think that this picture is stunning, to say the least, if rather... cluttered. What I mean by this is that seems like so much has been crammed into something so small, thus it tends towards a rather rushed feel. Something that contributes to this phenomenon is a lack of negative space within the picture. This also means that there are a great many focal points, but a lot of them have no connection or fluidity of movement between one or the other (the water itself is an obvious and excellent exception).
I think that this picture is best viewed as a whole, without focusing too much on the separate parts. It is also slightly blurry when zoomed out, but I couldn't care less. I love it anyway. Returning to my original point, this picture is enchanting. Great work over all!
