like a dream by RawPoetry like a dream by RawPoetry
Rargh. I've been stuck in the house, partially because it won't stop raining, and partially because my stomach has been randomly deciding to regurgitate its contents over the past 2 days. I'm seriously itching to go out and photograph, but dagern it!

So this is what I could come up with confined to my room. Not entirely creative, but it kept the photography craving at bay for a little bit. Too bad it's not supposed to stop raining all week. :saddummy:

All feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated oh so very much!

hehe thank you! It can take hours to get them right sometimes, just a lot of experimenting with different concepts and angles!
Also, I have many different colors of fountain pen ink that are awesome for adding color! :D

Haha, I do sometimes! It's true I get quite repetitive though, but it's mainly because most of the time I don't have any daylight to work with because I'm stuck at work until 6, and the only thing I can think to do while confined to my home is droplets. :hmm:
You're right though, it has gone on too long! I must broaden my horizons and break the habit! :salute:

It's pretty awesome! :D

I think you can capture many things in one's room...

I really like the way the colours contrast and how the textures do as well. The lighting is great and I really like the depth of field too. :D

I feel as if you are progressing in your photography... at least, I feel as if this is a quite a far cry from your first few photographs? :O

True, if you think outside of the box enough you can create some great things from regular objects.

You have no idea how glad I am to hear that...

Of course! I am a fountain pen geek, so I used something called a converter, which is used to ink fountian pens and can create wonderfully perfect water droplets! I put a droplet on top of some fake feathers I had, then I injected the droplet with blue fountain pen ink. Voila! :dummy:
Thank you so much for the kind words!

they're usually only $3.00-$5.00, and can sometimes be found in regular office supply stores. Definitely a good investment if you enjoy droplet shots! :dummy:
