...all began with a single acorn! :dummy:

I didn't like this at first because of the blur, but it has kind of grown on me... like it's blending into the background. But I'm still not quite sure. :hmm:

All constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! :eager:

I'm wonderstruck by this picture because, for the most part, I've never seen an acorn like this! I've only seen the long, green ones made by Oak trees.
But this is an absolutely enchanting photo, very quaint in a sense ^^
The only thing that I think would improve it (and there seriously isn't much to improve) is getting the entire acorn in focus versus the venter. It's a very little thing, and the picture looks absolutely brilliant without that edit, so don't worry! :D
All in all, this photo looks stunning and I absolutely love it! :D It makes me think of the Disney woodland creatures and such.

I personally love the blur. The shallow depth of field really makes the photo. The small focus range drew me through the picture without me even realizing it. The colors are great and the brown stands out well against the green and gray / blue. The blur in the background has movement and helps to balance the heavy weight of the acorn. I love macro shots like this that show texture. To improve this shot maybe increase the depth of field very slightly, again I like that it is so small but maybe it would look good a little bit bigger. Also maybe something to balance it a little more in the shot. But over all it is a great shot that you should be proud of!

HI there - I'd love to use this image for my retreat marketing material and on my website (in development). That okay with you? If so, would you have a larger res version that I could buy? Thanks!
