Watching the World by RawPoetry Watching the World by RawPoetry
Alright, I know this isn't very good. But it is my very first step into the world of fisheye, so I just had to share it! :la:

I just bought a supposedly awesome book on understanding how to use natural light, so hopefully it will improve my landscapes in the future! :eager:

All constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! :dummy:

This is really interesting!

I like how you have placed a pretty main focal point to the left of us so that it grounds us a bit more.. it's really interesting how the land/world is curved around it, in a sense. I like the trees and .. yeah, it's cool how colourful this is all in all.

I'm not particularly fond of the overexposure reflected of the lighting near the top right, but other than that, it's really good. I like the shadows created, anyway.

Urf, I agree about the overexposure... there is something about landscapes that is just not clicking for me. People are telling me HDR is the best way to get an even exposure, but I have been trying to avoid that and I just can't seem to get it right. :noes:
Anywho, thank you for your lovely comment! Hopefully I will get it right with practice! :eager:

Sometimes it is!

Yeah, that I can understand. HDR is another thing entirely sometimes. =/

Indeed! It is much fun. :la:

it's called fisheye, and it's a special kind of lens that adds an aspherical effect to the photo. Very fun to play with!

This is really pretty.
I always liked this style, which I now know is called fisheye.
So thanks for sharing that.

(Whenever I see fisheye photos the first thing that comes to mind is, "It's a small world after all".)
