Froggie McFrogerson.

This photo posed a particular challenge for me, because I am used to working with subjecs that give me a wide variance of color. Working in an environment where everything was very similar in color made me feel that the subject doesn't stand out very well... but I'm not sure. Which is why I would really love feedback on this piece, and to hear any tips you may have on working in that kind of situation!

all constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! :dummy:

Well I'm not qualified to give any real expertise... but I'll give you my amateur opinion for what its worth...

I personally get drawn to photo with a lot of colour, that has something that stands out (such as your lady bug), but I often see photos prove that such vivid colour isn't everything. You've done well keeping reflection/ glare off the water to a minimum and I think its really unique that you caught him with just his head poking out of the water. Wonderful job Carly! :D

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I'm usually drawn to the more colorful photos too, but I suppose learning how to do both is important. :noed:
