Yay for crappy titles. I think this is a common blue butterfly, but I'm not sure... it looks a hell of a lot like one, but my guide says they're only supposed to be in Europe. :hmm:

Anywho, this is a few weeks old. Focus could've been better, but I thought this butterfly was very pretty. :meow:

All constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! :dummy:

I think this shot flows marvelously, the colors are in harmony and the focus is awesome, I like the idea if pushing the focus in or out of focus. I think it makes the image more dynamic and interesting to me any way :) :) :)

This is an awesome shot. :O

I really like the way you've framed and angled this piece here. It's cool how the butterfly is angled in a less than balanced way, because it adds further depth to things, I feel... and it makes it more jaunty, which is good on the overall impression, like.

I do feel that the main subject matter could be sharper there... I also feel that you could crop this as well, or at least... to have moved the camera lower, perhaps.

Still a good piece, regardless. :)

Yeah, the focus was the main thing that bugged me on this piece. I still forget to pay attention to my aperture sometimes. :o
But anywho, thanks so much!

I'm new (two days) to DA and this is the best photo I've seen so far. You used the rule of thirds perfectly and you have a very nice bokeh background. I tend to go for nature shots too and this is quite nice. Thanks for posting.
