Eh. Usually if I'm unsure about a photo, it only has to sit for a week or so until i've made up my mind on it. But I just don't know about this one! :noes:

This is from the same shoot as this:

It was a truly incredible morning, completely cloudless except for one cloud that drifted right between these two mountains as the sun was rising.

All constructive criticism is greatly appreciated! :dummy:

Awesome stuff! :O

I like the location and the way the clouds add further depth to things... I do feel it's a bit... dodgy in terms of the composition in both the structure/form and the lighting, colours?

Part of me feels that you could have gone closer and made it wider too, in that sense, but.. yeah, you could have been physically prevented, which would have sucked, but eh.

It's not bad.

Yeah, I didn't think the composition was very strong here. :hmm: That's my biggest issue with landscapes.
I can't remember if I would've been physically prevented, but those are good suggestions. I really love this location, Hopefully I'll be able to get out there again sometimes soon and shoot some more.
As always, thanks for your kind and helpful words. :)

I love the light - I think what you're struggling with on this one is a lack of a strong focal point. The other shot where the bridge is more prominent with the lines of rock paralleling and reinforcing it is a stronger composition. That being said, with light like that, it's rather hard to go wrong!

Yeah, I think that's been my recurring issue in landscape shots is finding a solid focal point. :hmm:
But anywho, thanks very much. :)

It's lovely! The shadow and light contrasts are beautiful. There is also great texture in the ripples of the water and the silhouettes of the vegetation and the softness of the clouds.
