LandscapeA landscape of freckled skin
lies next to mine,
painted blue
by the dim light of an alarm clock.

I rest, protected by the warmth
of a sleeping body whose
calloused hands fit mine with such
beautiful imperfection;
whose fearless eyes awaken me
from a business casual haze;
whose dimpled smile reminds me
there are sun soaked mountain summits
awaiting my arrival, and
I can be fearless, too.
I've been fearless all along.

A landscape of freckled skin
lies next to mine,
and there is no smile,
no body,
no insignificant moment
I would rather call
my own.
Imperfect  He is not perfect;
Rather, he is imperfect
in all the right ways.

That has such amazing detail. :wow:

I got a photo of a bee recently and I was just so ecstatic... this photo is so good it makes my photo look so lame! :D :ashamed:

Bees are tough little buggers, getting a pic of one at all is quite a feat! They just keep moving around! Not to mention if you hang around a gang of them for too long they start to get mad at you, which can end badly. :XD:

Yeah for sure! I took about a dozen attempts trying to get him where I wanted!

And I am allergic to them... so I tend to stay away from the mobs. :laughing:

I actually haven't been stung by one for a VERY long time (because of the fact I try to avoid them)... which makes me kinda curious whether or not I'd still have the same allergic reaction. That I used to. :shrug:

Luckily bees are really quite docile as long as you don't freak out or bug them for too long.

Bees are such fantastic little creatures. I never understand why people freak out and start swinging their hands around if they see a bee. You could still swing the photo over on to its side for a portrait format and I doubt any one would bee any the wiser that the photo was on its side.

I agree completely, not only are bees beautiful, but their lifestyle and how dependent nature is on them is very fascinating. :nod:
